The high-temperature and high-pressure detwisting and relaxing tumbler type crepe machine is mainly composed of a cylinder tumbler, a transmission part, a liquid adding and heating system and an automatic program controller, as shown in Figure 10-14.
Before being refined, relaxed and creped, the raw silk is circled and looped, and then put into the tumbler of the cylinder. The tumbler is generally made of stainless steel sheets welded into a long cylindrical shape with several flutes inside. Some tumblers are also made into a hexagonal or octagonal shape. Its function is that during the forward and reverse rotation of the drum, it can effectively lift the fabric, play a beating role, and increase the wrinkle effect.
The forward and reverse rotation speed of the rotating cage is generally 5 to 20r/min. There are countless small holes on the rotating cage. There are double or four-door structures along the length of the rotating cage to facilitate the feeding and discharging of materials. . The curvature of the moving door matches the swivel cage and can move left and right. It is suitable for scouring and creping of synthetic fiber knitted fabrics. It is an intermittent finishing equipment with small batch size, complicated operations and high labor intensity. But the final product is of high quality, with a softer, looser feel than fabrics finished with other equipment.
