Yining County’s 100-billion-level textile industrial park has a planned total area of 20 square kilometers and promotes various constructions based on the concepts of specialization, scale, clustering and marketization. At present, 450,000 square meters of standardized factories and supporting facilities have been built, and more than 20 enterprises of various types including spinning, weaving, home textiles, and clothing have settled in the area, providing employment to more than 5,000 people. The park was rated as the “National Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base” by the Ministry of Commerce and the “National Textile Industry Transfer Pilot Park” by the China Textile Federation. It has become the professional weaving park with the largest scale of looms, the most employment, and the best brand effect in Xinjiang. . The project currently under construction covers an area of 2,000 acres, with a total investment of 2.6 billion yuan, and a standardized factory building and supporting facilities of 620,000 square meters. It is expected to be put into use in June this year. By then, 15 enterprises will be able to settle in, forming a scale of 2 million spinning spindles and 2,400 looms, attracting investment of more than 4 billion yuan, annual output value exceeding 10 billion yuan, and employing more than 4,000 people.
After the park is fully completed, it is expected to have a scale of 3.5 million spinning spindles and 25,000 looms, employ more than 80,000 people, lock in a scale of 100 billion, and achieve chain development. The park will become the largest employment base in the state, the largest industrial aid base in Xinjiang, the largest home textile gray fabric production base in the country, and a famous “characteristic textile town” in Xinjiang and one of the best in the country.
At the matchmaking meeting, Zhang Xuexin, chairman of Xinjiang Dasheng Weaving Co., Ltd., shared his experience and feelings about investing in the 100-billion-level textile industrial park in Yining County. Entrepreneurs attending the meeting said that Yining County’s cultural environment, investment environment, and development environment are very attractive, and they will go to Xinjiang for field inspections in the near future to determine their investment intentions as soon as possible.
